Performance
The Wrangler is not known as a speed burner, but with the V-6 you can get to 60 in 6.1 seconds, which is not bad for a large vehicle. The loaded Rubicon, with all the off-road equipment, still manages to get to 60 in 7.6 seconds. There is also a hybrid electric 4xe model that sports a 17 kWh battery that will go 25 miles on battery alone. You can crawl around boulders with the Rubicon for a long time with that. The standard engine is the V6, which can be paired with a manual transmission, or an 8-speed automatic. All models start with a 12.9-inch ground clearance, which is the best in its class. That will handle a lot of off-roading, but if you want to take it to a higher level, the Rubicon 392, with its powerful V8 engine, can be outfitted to handle fording a 33-inch deep body of water.

Technology
The Jeep Wrangler keeps up with the times with a lot of electronic advances as it maintains its image as a rugged utility vehicle. There is a snazzy infotainment center with an optional 8.4-inch touchscreen, with plenty of USB ports available. All of that can be integrated with your smartphone. At the Sahara trim level, you get an upgraded driver information display, remote keyless entry, and automatic climate control. The heavy-duty Rubicon has locking electronic front and rear axles, and rock rails. and an off-road driving mode. The Rubicon also has a front-pointed camera which can help in tight spots with offroading. A safety package offers blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision mitigation. But if you want to go old-school, the very base-level Wrangler has windows you roll up by hand and manual door locks. You can lower the windshield too, to get a total feel of nature around you. Many of the packages can be ordered on different trims, so you can get exactly what you want.
